Build your dashboard
Arrange the Reports tab from saved cards so the numbers you check often are one tap away.
A card is a saved report: a type, a period, filters, and a grouping, kept together under a name you choose. The dashboard is the cards you keep.
Steps
To add a card, follow these steps:
- Open the Reports tab.
- Tap Add Card.
- Choose a Card type: Net Worth, Cash Flow, Spending, Spending Comparison, or Spending Calendar.
- Give it a Name that says what it answers.
- Set the Period.
- Set Filters and Group by if the card needs them.
- Tap Save.
The card appears on the dashboard showing live numbers.
Editing and reordering
Tap Edit to change a card, or to drag cards into the order you want and remove ones you no longer read.
Put the card you check most at the top. A dashboard you scroll is a dashboard you stop reading.
Cards worth having
A useful starting set:
| Card | Why |
|---|---|
| Cash Flow, last 6 months | Whether you are living within your income at all |
| Spending this month, grouped by category | Where this month is going while you can still change it |
| Net Worth, last 12 months | The long line that the monthly noise hides |
| Spending Comparison | Whether this month is unusual, and in which categories |
Notes
A card can carry a Note, and the dashboard itself can too. Use it to record what a card is for, or what you decided last time you read it.
