Every row in the Settings tab and what it does.

Budget

RowWhat it does
Budgeting MethodSwitches between Envelope and Tracking. Refer to Switch budgeting methods.
RulesCreates and edits rules. Refer to Create a rule.
PayeesLists payees, and merges duplicates. Refer to Merge duplicate payees.
Scheduled TransactionsCreates and edits schedules. Refer to Schedule a transaction.

Data

RowWhat it does
Import TransactionsImports a statement. Refer to Import a bank statement.
Export BackupWrites the whole budget to one file. Refer to Back up your budget.
Restore from BackupReplaces everything from a backup file. Refer to Restore from a backup.
Export Transactions CSVWrites transactions as a spreadsheet. Refer to Export to CSV.
Budget FilesManages separate budgets. Refer to Manage budget files.

Formats

These affect display only. Amounts are stored exactly regardless of how they are shown.

CurrencyThe currency symbol and formatting. One currency per budget file.
Date FormatSystem, Day first, Day first with dots, Month first, or Year first
Number FormatHow thousands and decimals are separated
First Day of WeekWhich day a week starts on, used by the calendar report

Privacy

Hide AmountsRenders every amount as dots until turned off, across the whole app including reports
