Find and filter transactions

Search a register, narrow it with filters, and jump to transactions that need attention.

A register with two years in it is only useful if you can cut it down. Search and filters do that, and the chips under an account’s balance are shortcuts to the cuts you want most often.

Open an account’s register and type in the search field. Search matches payees, categories, and notes, so a tag written in a note is findable too.

Filter

Tap the Filter pill to narrow the register by:

  • Date range
  • Status: uncleared, cleared, or reconciled
  • Category
  • Payee
  • Tag
  • Amount

Filters combine, so you can ask for uncategorised transactions over 50 from last month in one go.

The chips

Under an account’s balance sit chips summarising the register. The one counting transactions that need a category is the one to reach for after an import: tapping it filters straight to them.

All Accounts

The All Accounts row on the Accounts tab opens a register covering every account at once. Search and filters work there identically, which is how you find a transaction when you cannot remember which card you paid with.
